Arsene Wenger is set to be a thorn in the side for Tottenham again as he aims to sign their transfer target when he takes up a new role at PSG, according to the Daily Express.
The Frenchman is set to take on a non-coaching role at Paris Saint Germain, and could be allowed to help oversee transfers for the club.
Tottenham are considering a club record bid for Lyon midfielder Tanguay Ndombele after they failed with a £40 million bid during the summer. They see him as a long-term replacement for Moussa Dembele.
However, Wenger is reportedly set to hijack the move as he has already discussed the idea with Thomas Tuchel and is impressed by the German’s use of young players this season.
The youngster is seen as a perfect fit for the type of players the club want to bring in, with the likes of Atletico Madrid’s Thomas Partey also being linked.
The former Arsenal boss has been a source of misery for the Gunners North London rivals for the over two decades he spent at the club, and he fittingly his first line of action after leaving the Emirates will seem to hurt them once more.
