Wenger lineup TWO fantastic options to replace outgoing Sanchez

Arsenal have lined up two stars to replace Alexis Sanchez, according to reports.

Sanchez remains desperate to link up with Pep Guardiola at the Etihad and Arsenal are beginning to give up hope of keeping him.

The two clubs are reportedly in talks over the transfer and City are confident of signing him. However, just like it was last summer, Arsenal will only sell Sanchez this month if they sign a replacement.

It was for this reason, the Chilean couldn’t join City in the summer. Arsenal wanted to sign Lemar before sanctioning a sale to City but failure to sign the Monaco man forced the club to keep the Chilean against his wish.

Even though Arsenal are open to a sale this winter, they still want to sign a replacement before selling the Chilean.

According to the Times via the Daily Star, Arsenal want either Lemar or Bailey to replace Sanchez.

Wenger doesn’t intend to weaken his squad and will only sell the Chilean if he’s secured a replacement.

Lemar has long been touted as a candidate to replace the Chilean so it isn’t surprising to see his name being mentioned. Bailey has been in superb form for Bayer Leverkusen and Arsenal have been impressed by his progress.

Either of the duo would be fine by me, they have enough quality to lessen the blow of Sanchez’s exit.

  1. I think Lemar is out of our league for the time being. There is too much interest in him from clubs who are on the one hand more ambitious and on the other willing to spend more. We are now being linked to Malcolm (Malcom)? From Bordeaux… never heard of him but hadn’t heard of m’bape or Lemar before they started costing in excess of 100 million, so I guess the lesson is get in now whilst he’s only 40 million :/ Do not really know much about Bailey either.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Sanchez stays until the summer and leaves for City. Otherwise, I think Mahrez or a loan deal for Draxler for the rest of the season are more likely deals.
