Henrikh Mkhitaryan netted twice and set up the other two as Armenia beat Bosnia & Herzegovina 4-2 on Sunday.

Before the game there had been much hype in Italy about Henrikh Mkhitaryan coming up against his new AS Roma compatriot Edin Dzeko in this match and it was the Arsenal man who stole the plaudits.

Netting the opener after just three minutes, he scored a second in the 66th after Dzeko had equalised in the first half. The second goal is certainly something:

He also assisted Stjepan Loncar as he put the ball into the back of his own net to make it 4-2.

I think it’s safe to say that if we’d seen more of this from Mkhitaryan he would still be at the club. As it stands, he scored just 9 goals, with 13 assists, in 59 Arsenal games.

Then again, perhaps Unai Emery’s shackles had something to do with things…
