Danny Welbeck’s future at Arsenal is still in doubt as the club are yet to reach an agreement with him over a new contract, according to the Mirror.
The England international is in the final year of his contract at the Emirates, and could follow teammate Aaron Ramsey out of the door if a new deal isn’t reached.
The Welshman is set to leave the Emirates after the club withdrew their offer to extend his current deal which expires in the summer.
Danny Welbeck like Ramsey would be free to speak to foreign clubs in January and could agree a pre-contract with one of them if the Gunners don’t act fast.
This wouldn’t have been any cause for alarm at the beginning of the season, as many fans would have loved to see the back of the forward at the time.
However, he has found very impressive form under Unai Emery, finding the back of the net four times already this season.
He along with goalkeeper Petr Cech will have to impress more as the season goes on in other to earn contract extensions.
