Real Madrid want Aaron Ramsey and Arsenal in turn want Isco, in a deal that could happen in one of the two upcoming transfer windows, according to a report in Daily Star.
Aaron Ramsey, you might have heard, is out of contract in the summer and we still have no clue where he might end up.
The Welsh midfielder has been linked with a host of clubs around Europe and now Real Madrid have been added to the list.
The report in the Star claims that Real Madrid’s interest will worry Bayern Munich who have been ‘long-term admirers’ of Ramsey who is available at a price they like.
The Germans are reportedly concerned that Real Madrid will be able to offer wages closer to the £200kpw Ramsey is said to want. He currently earns £140kpw at Arsenal.
A move to Real Madrid would offer the tantalising prospect of Ramsey and Bale teaming up together at team level.
Arsenal on the other hand are desperate for an attacking midfield maestro to provide competition for the likes of Mesut Ozil and with Ramsey leaving, The Gunners have been linked with a move for severals stars around Europe and one of them is unhappy Madrid star man Isco.
So it’s safe to say that both clubs could look at a doing business together either via a swap deal or two completely different deals, in either of the next two transfer window.
Like Wojciech Szczesny being sold to Juventus to replace Gianluigi Buffon at a time Arsenal were desperate for a top-class keeper, it just doesn’t make any sense from a footballing point of view.
