Arsenal legend Martin Keown believes Chelsea and Manchester United will miss out on a place in the Premier League’s top four.

Tottenham regained third spot from Chelsea with a comfortable 4-0 win against Huddersfield in Saturday’s early kick-off.

The Blues face a daunting trip to Anfield on Sunday to play Liverpool, while they travel to Old Trafford to face Manchester United later this month.

The Red Devils are fifth after Saturday’s narrow win over West Ham but have the hardest run-in where they’ll play Chelsea, Everton and Manchester City in the space of seven days.

And Keown believes that’ll play into the hands of his former side, who he expects to finish fourth behind Tottenham.

‘I think they’re [Manchester United just going to miss out,’ said Keown.

‘Arsenal, you may expect me to say that, but I’ve gone through the fixtures and I just think they’re just too tough for Man Utd’

‘When you look at these games they’ve got play City I think that will be a draw I don’t think they can win that one for me it’s not going to happen ’75 points I think they’ll get, same as Arsenal but they’ll finish above on goal difference’

Arsenal take on Watford at Vicarage Road on Monday but will be without the suspended Sokratis.

Unai Emery hinted at changes after his side’s 2-0 win against Napoli on Thursday and they face the Italian giants again three days after their clash with the Hornets.
