Granit Xhaka insists he has no plans to leave Arsenal this summer.
The 26-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Inter, who are now managed by Antonio Conte.
Reports have claimed that Arsenal would accept a €40 million (£35.6m) bid for the Switzerland international.
But Xhaka, who joined Arsenal in a £35m deal from Borussia Monchengladbach in 2016, wants to stay with the Gunners and is even open to becoming a permanent captain.
‘Not that I know,’ Xhaka told Blick when asked if he was planning to leave Arsenal.
‘I have another four years on my contract, I only signed last year.
‘I’m happy there, my family too. That’s the most important.’
And when asked if it would be fantastic if he were to be made Arsenal captain, Xhaka replied:
‘It would certainly be the dot on the ‘i’.’
