AC Milan and Inter Milan are both said to be interested in bringing in Mesut Ozil now that the player is clearly for sale.
With the man who sanctioned his massive Arsenal wages in Italy, who would bet against him ending up there?
I doubt either Milan club will want (or be able) to pay Mesut Ozil’s wages but the fact is, while Arsene Wenger counselled against paying Ozil £350kpw, Ivan Gazidis helped get it through.
Now in charge of AC Milan, he is looking to bring the German to the city according to Calciomercato who also claim Inter are interested, obviously to team him up with Alexis Sanchez when his ankle recovers.
This week we spent the majority of it thrashing out the Ozil/Emery situation with someone from each camp representing.
As for Ozil, it seems like his days at Arsenal are well and truly numbered and it’s a case of ‘where’ he goes rather than ‘when’.
