Arsenal have been tipped to sign former Spurs player Steven Caulker after the defender activated his release clause from Dundee at the end of the transfer window.
The free agent is now said to be considering his options and have received an impressive offer from Arsenal, however there’s no cause for alarm as it is not the Arsenal on the other side of North London, but one in Ukraine Arsenal Kiev.
The 26-year-old who has a lot of experience in the Premier League having spent time with the likes of Tottenham, Liverpool, Swansea, Cardiff, QPR and Southmpton.
The Kiev based club have offered him a deal which would see him become their highest paid player, but he prefers to stay in England.
He has also received interest from a number of Championship clubs and he has flown home to make a decision on his future.
On the other hand, the Arsenal you initially thought of will take on Everton in the Premier League at the weekend and are yet to keep a cleansheet this season.
