Arsenal winger makes much awaited return to the England squad.

Arsenal forward Theo Walcott could not hide his anticipation for the Euro 2016 qualifiers as he made his return to full training with the England squad on Friday.

The 25-year old has not played for the Three Lions for over a year after being sidelined due to injury. He sustained the injury back in January in the 2-0 FA Cup third round triumph over bitter North London rivals Totttenham.

Walcott was in high spirits as he trained with England at St George’s Park: And what other way to celebrate his return than to tweet to his followers.

His tweet read:

“Nice to be back with the England team and looking forward to being at Wembley tomorrow!”

Have a look:

Although Theo has only featured once since returning from injury – as a second half substitute in the 3-0 win over Burnley earlier in November – Roy Hodgson has been closely monitoring his recovery by organizing extra training sessions to quicken Theo’s return to full fitness.

Walcott has 36 caps for England with 5 goals to his name, his most memorable display being a hat-trick in the 5-1 hammering of Croatia in 2010.

England host Slovenia on Saturday at 5PM GMT.

Welcome back Theo, See you in Wembley!
