Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been singing the praises of Thomas Tuchel who looks set to become the new PSG manager in the summer despite being linked with the Arsenal job.

Auba’s comment on the incoming PSG boss basically ends links of a reuniting at Arsenal for the duo. Meaning Arsene Wenger looks set to complete the final year of his contract at the least.

Tuchel is one of a number of managers who have been linked with the Arsenal job even though it seems like Arsene Wenger will see out the final year of his contract.

Arsenal are believed to have met with Tuchel, along with at least two other managers, but if Wenger doesn’t leave and the club won’t ask him too, then there’s not really much point.

L’Equipe on Tuesday went big with the news that Tuchel seems set to replace Unai Emery at the end of the season when he is finally removed from his position.

That means he won’t be coming to Arsenal and is unlikely to arrive at the club next summer, either.

“He is one of the best coaches I have ever had, I cannot deny his talent”, Aubameyang told SFR Sport on Tuesday about his former boss.

“He could be a good fit with PSG, but if he goes on the adventure, we’ll have to see how he keeps the changing room together, I think that’s the hardest thing at a big club.

“He is a bit crazy, just like me.

“You could say that his style is similar to that of Guardiola, they let their teams play in the same way, he likes to be on the ball and to play football, whatever happens, he has the qualities, it’s up to now him to prove it.”
