Arsenal fan favourite looking for relocation advice as shock exit looms

Laurent Koscielny looks like he could be off to Bordeaux with the French press reporting their interest and the Arsenal captain following ‘Bordeaux Life Relocation’ on Instagram.

According to L’Equipe (via France Football), Laurent Koscielny is a target for Bordeaux as they look to replace the 20-year-old Jules Kounde who is off to Sevilla.

According to the report, Kos started following certain Bordeaux accounts on social media and when I checked his Instagram I found:

On their website they say, “Are you moving to Bordeaux? Do you need help finding the perfect home for you and your family or perhaps the right school? Are you are already here and need help dealing with the day-to-day challenges of life in a new country?

“BordeauxLife can help. We treat each client as an individual and we offer a personalised suite of services designed to take the pressure off you.

“Our team is enthusiastic and passionate about life in Bordeaux and we take pride in providing a relocation service with your family in mind.

“We are experienced, trustworthy, pro-active, welcoming, independent and knowledgable. We put our clients needs first and gain a huge amount of satisfaction on a job well done.”

Koscielny has been linked with a number of clubs while L’Equipe (via GFFN) reported that the 33-year-old has also been approached by Lyon.

Last week, GFFN reported that Arsenal met with his agents on Monday with the player subject to multiple offers from France and Italy.

Arsenal, in need of cash, however, are not prepared to let their captain go for nothing – nor should they when he has a year remaining on his contract – and ‘may even offer him a contract extension.’

The extension would most likely be to ensure they don’t lose him for nothing next season and much will depend on Arsenal’s ability to be creative in the market this summer.

Arsenal desperately need defenders but they don’t have any money so a decision might be taken to keep Kos at the club as a back-up should they be unable to replace him adequately.

Of course, this is all speculation and, with neither side saying anything, we will just have to wait to see what they do.
