According to a report from ESPN, Arsenal have agree terms with Eddie Nketiah as they offer the youngster his first professional contract with the club.

The reports further states the Gunners have agree a three-year deal with lethal goal scorer who joined Arsenal from Chelsea in 2015.

Nketiah progressed through the Gunners youth rank scoring 24 goals in 28 appearances for Arsenal U18 side.

The youngster, who is capable of operating out wide if required, made his first debut for the Gunners U18 side against Aston Villa last season.

“I have good pace but I’d say my finishing is my strength,” Nketiah told Arsenal’s club website in September 2015.

“I believe I’m an instinctive finisher and the key is being able to be calm and composed in front of goal, which ensures I never rush my shots.

“I also like to get involved in pressing the opposition high and early. That’s encouraged at Arsenal but that’s how I’ve always been.”

Wenger and his Coaching officials are big fans of him, with some likening him to legendary club striker Ian Wright.
