Arsenal are listening to several late offers for Danny Welbeck as Everton, Bournemouth and Southampton prepare late swoops for the forward.

According to the Evening Standard, Welbeck, who has one year left on his contract, has attracted interest from the Premier League trio as well as Turkish outfit Besiktas.

New Gunners boss Unai Emery has reportedly told him that he is not planning to give him regular first-team opportunities and Alex Iwobi’s new contract is yet another indication that the former Manchester United player will struggle to feature in the starting line-up.

Welbeck seems to prefer to stay in England and Arsenal need to sell after spending a total of £70m this summer.

The Gunners signed the likes of Sokratis Papastathopoulos, Bernd Leno, Stephan Lichtsteiner, Lucas Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi. Welbeck also makes £115,000 a week and Emery is under pressure to make cuts to an already excessive wage bill.
