Arsenal are poised to announce the signing of Ituano forward Gabriel Martinelli, according to reports.
The 18-year-old has been tracked by Manchester United and Barcelona since bursting onto the scene for Ituano, but the Gunners stepped up their transfer interest earlier this year.
And Brazilian outlet Globo Esporte claim Arsenal have a agreed a £6million deal with Ituano and will announce the signing in the coming days.
Martinelli will become Unai Emery’s first signing of the summer and kick off what could be a busy summer for the Gunners.

It is unclear if the Brazilian teenager will go straight into Emery’s side or begin life at Arsenal with a stint in the academy side.
Arsenal’s transfer budget is expected to be a modest £45m this summer and Emery will consider selling some players to raise funds.
Mesut Ozil and Shkodran Mustafi are in danger of the axe, as Emery targets adding more quality to his squad.
Arsenal endured a dismal end to the season, with Chelsea inflicting a humiliating 4-1 defeat on the Gunners in the Europa League final.
Emery has been chasing a host of players including former Atletico Madrid star Yannick Carrasco and Saint-Etienne’s William Saliba.
