[4-4-2] Aubameyang, Mkhitaryan, Ozil and Lacazette Start in Everton vs Arsenal Strongest XI

Arsenal News HQ brings you the latest Arsenal news, match analysis, transfer news, injury news, team news and rumours from trusted media outlets around the World.

Arsenal have been pretty active during this winter’s transfer window, but the off-pitch rumours have clearly affected the team’s displays on the court where the Gunners have continued to struggle on Tuesday shockingly falling 3-1 to the rock-bottomed Swansea City side at Liberty Stadium.

The top four positions are now as many as eight points away for Arsene Wenger and his men and the Champions League football still remains an illusion for the North London heavyweights.

The hosts will be desperate to bounce back and try and keep ground on the top four likes this Saturday when they host Everton in one of the Matchday’s most interesting ties.

The London crowd will thus have to chance to see Theo Walcott on the pitch (the sight they’ve scarcely witnessed in this season), but this time in Everton’s shirt as the English winger will be highly motivated to show his class against his former teammates.

Walcott made a dream start for the new team as his brace (in the second appearance) made all the difference between Everton and Leicester City on Wednesday evening at Goodison (2-1 win for the Toffees).

The team led by Sam Allardyce has thus picked up the first win after seven consecutive failures. The victory has kept the Toffess in the top half of the league ladder but they are still miles away from challenging Europa League positions.

Allardyce now has a strong firepower on display up front with the likes of Cenk Tosun and Theo Walcott joining the team and we would not be surprised to see Everton causing troubles to the vulnerable defensive line of Arsenal’s on Saturday.
