[4-3-3] Aubameyang, Mkhitaryan, Ozil and Ramsey start in Best Arsenal XI vs Man City

Aaron Ramsey is expected to be available for the Carabao Cup final against Manchester City following a groin injury and providing he comes through unscathed, should be okay to start in the league meeting between the two clubs.

If the Welshman is ruled out or preserved having played at Wembley, then Mohamed Elneny could join Granit Xhaka and Jack Wilshere in a three-man midfield, with Mesut Ozil and Henrikh Mkhitaryan the favourites to flank central striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in attack.

Like Ramsey, Ozil is likely to be fit for Sunday’s showpiece after missing training during the week due to illness.

Alex Iwobi and Danny Welbeck provide back-up options should Arsene Wenger opt for fresh legs following the first meeting with City.

Changes are unlikely in the back four, with Calum Chambers and Sead Kolasinac set to provide cover. Cup goalkeeper David Ospina will start the cup final, but Petr Cech should return for the league meeting.

Alexandre Lacazette and Santi Cazorla are both ruled out.
