The pair were photographed in the middle of a heated exchange at Arsenal’s London Colney training base on Friday morning, with Bacary Sagna seemingly playing the role of peacemaker.
However the 22 year old England midfielder took his Twitter page to pour cold water on the reports by posting a picture which shows the Frenchman grabbing the England star by the scruff of the neck and posing as if he’s about to unleash a right hook.
Wilshere is seen wincing in preparation for the punch, but put an end to speculation of a fall out with Flamini by tweeting a light hearted message of apology.
“Just read I had a ‘bust up’ in training today! That’s news to me! Anyway….who would mess with Flamini”, he posted on Twitter.
“Flam was not happy when I walked on the bus tonight! Sorry mate I promise to never disagree with you again!!”
The tweet proves that the whole incident has been blown way out of proportion and the harmony among the Gunners camp appears to be just fine as we side prepare to take on Sunderland at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League this weekend.
Nice one Wilshere!
