Arsenal could sell as many as eight players before the transfer window closes, according to a report in the Daily Cannon.
Arsene Wenger recently admitted there will be more departures than arrivals before the end of the transfer window, as he looks to trim down its squad and as many as eight players could be sold in the next few weeks.
Unsurprisingly, Carl Jenkinson, Mathieu Debuchy, Kieran Gibbs, Calum Chambers and Lucas Perez are among those the club is looking to sell permanently this summer. However, Gabriel Paulista and Mohamed Elneny could also be allowed to leave if the club receives a suitable bid for any of them as we previously reported.
However, there is a suggestion Wenger could consider to keep Elneny and Gabriel at the club, as well as maintain a balanced team throughout the course of the campaign.

We only need to shift 8 to meet the numbers. The 8 would be:
But 3 of those 8 are still eligible for u23 so no panic there.
Whilst Campbell is out injured at least till the next window. Leaving just 4 to shift. However, seeing as Cazorla is also out injured until the next window, there is no real panic to name him in the 25.
That could probably throw a lifeline to one of Jenkinson, Debuchy, Perez or Gibbs. However, Wenger has stated he is still looking to strengthen the squad but only for an exceptional player. So I think those 4 will be moved on, whilst he looks to improve his 25 – That is:
Cech, Ospina, Macey
Mustafi, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Chambers, Holding, Gabriel
Bellerin Chamberlain Kolasinac Monreal
Xhaka, Ramsey, Coquelin, Elneny, Cazorla
Ozil, Alexis, Walcott, Welbeck, Wilshere
Macey is another who qualifies for U23, so he could be omitted to free up a space as Huddart could quite comfortably be 3rd choice keeper and is classed as under 21.
We have an exceptional U21 side and I expect them to line up in the EFL Cup, whilst all are eligible for Europa League, Premier League and FA Cup.
