Arsenal are being linked with Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Moussa Sissoko, according to reports.
Tottenham are reportedly interested in selling the midfielder since he’s failed to impress since joining them for £30m in 2016.
And the Mirro via the Calciomercato claims Arsenal are interested in signing the French man.
The paper says Arsenal are even willing to offer Spurs all the money they paid to sign the French man two summers ago.
The Gunners have been linked with a host of midfielder’s in recent weeks but it is very surprising to see the club being linked with Sissoko.
The former Newcastle man hasn’t been able to make any meaningful contribution to Spurs team sinc he joined them, so what makes the media think he will be better off at the Emirates.
The report says Sissoko will be happy to leave to a club where he’d play regularly and considering the form he is at the moment, he would find it difficult to get the amount of game time he’d love.
Arsenal were understandably linked with him before he joined Spurs because of the quality he displayed at Newcastle.
The Gunners would be better off staying away from him now. We actually need players who would strengthen our team and not just make up the numbers.
