Walcott on his way to Everton after Wenger tells him to leave in January

Arsenal striker Theo Walcott has emerged as a transfer target for Everton.

According to the Daily Mail, Everton have made an enquiry about the Arsenal winger, who has not started a Premier League match this season.

New Everton boss Sam Allardyce wants to strengthen his squad in the summer and the 28-year-old is among the targets.

It was reported earlier this week that Walcott has been told by Arsenal to began to look for other employers in the January transfer window.

And it seems like it’s going to be the current longest serving Arsenal star that’d make the switch to Everton, rather than teammate Olivier Giroud – who was a serious target for Everton under Ronald Koeman in the summer.
