The Gunners were torn apart at Anfield with goals from Martin Skrtel, Raheem Sterling and Daniel Sturridge. Arsenal did pull one back, but the Merseyside club scored again to seal the win and peg Arsene Wenger’s men back in the title race.
The Polish international did little to hide his displeasure by claiming that his team were f***ing embarrassing and also apologised to the supporters.
“That was f….ing embarrassing! Apologies to anyone who sat through 90 mins of that game”, he posted on Facebook.
Arsenal started slowly once again and this time, we actually paid the price and no team who wants to win the Premier League should find themselves 4-0 down after 19 minutes. We were somewhat better in the second half but still nowhere near our best.
The defeat to Liverpool was only the first in a daunting run of games for the Gunners. They face Bayern Munich and Manchester United as well as a rematch with Liverpool in the FA Cup in the coming weeks and an immediate response is required or our season could unravel very quickly.
