Arsenal striker Yassin Fortune has joined French side FC Sion after rejecting a new deal at the Emirates, according to the Daily Cannon.
The 19-year-old joined the club in 2015 from RC Lens alongside Jeff Reine-Adelaide, but unlike his compatriot who has made a number of first team appearances, Fortune did not make a single first team appearance.
He made only 22 appearances for the U18s and U23s, scoring twice and assisting three times in his three years at the club due to various injuries.
He made only five appearances in the Premier League 2 last season, while his teammate Jeff who was also injured for much of last year was sent out on loan in January, making eight appearances for Angers in the Ligue One.
Although Arsenal are yet to announce his departure at the time of writing, Sion have announced that he has signed a four-year deal with them and have already added him to their squad list.
Jeff who is the more talented of the duo has a contract that will expire next summer, and despite making a number of first team appearances, his future at the club still remains uncertain.
