Really I don’t know which stories to believe anymore with several British tabloid reporting different stories about Arsenal completing their 5th summer signing in the next 24 hours.
Arsenal have been reportedly linked with a move for Valencia defender Shkodran Mustafi with his agent Ali Bulut confirming Shkodran has agreed terms with the Gunners, according to reports.
However, there has been a new twist to what was reported yesterday as Bulut claims he was being misquoted, he revealed “There are discussions, but there is no agreement – neither between Arsenal and Mustafi still between Valencia and Arsenal,” Bulut told German publication Kicker.
Now the Express are reporting Arsenal are set to sign the German defender for £30million within the next 24 hours.
Tribalfootball who cites Daily Mail are reporting Mustafi is expected to arrive at North London soon for medicals as he is waiting for permission from Valencia as a fee is yet to be agreed.
Squawka this morning reported that the Gunners are in advanced negotiation for Mustafi as he has agreed a five-year deal worth around £75,000 a week and a deal could be announced within the next 48 hours.
We will keep our fingers crossed and let you know as the stories or lies unfolds.
