Arsene Wenger is set to be handed a massive transfer blow by his bitter rival Jose Mourinho in his bid to sign one of his top priority target this summer.
According to reports, Manchester United are ready to make a £50m move for Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette.
The Mirror claim the forward is on Arsenal’s radar but United have now joined the race.
The Red Devils have a stronger chance of signing him too with the 26-year-old keen to play Champions League football.
“[The team I will join] will have to be in the Champions League and play good football,” said Lacazette last month.
“Passing the ball, not just hitting it from box to box. Not kick and rush. That would not work for me.”
In my own opinion, Lacazette has proven himself enough in the last three seasons in the Ligue 1, so much that his signature deserves to be fought for by Wenger.
Gooners, should Wenger go all out to sign this proven Ligue 1 hitman or let Manchester United have him?
