Manchester United could sign Alexis Sanchez without Henrikh Mkhitaryan as part of the deal.
It’s been widely speculated that Mkhitaryan will be included in the deal to take Sanchez to Old Trafford but that may not happen if the Armenia’s representative continues to play hardball.
Mino Raiola, Mkhitaryan’s agent has said the Armenia holds the key to Sanchez moving to United and that the super agent has factored into negotiations. They are yet to agree terms with Arsenal and are seeking United pay them off for the remaining two years in his contract.
However, Mourinho is still confident of signing Sanchez even if Mkhitaryan refuses to move.
Wenger is believed to be interested in the former Borussia Dortmund man but the manager one isn’t one who would pay over the odds for a player, irrespective of his quality.
Man Utd have reportedly agreed a four and a half year deal with Sanchez which will see him earn around £18m a year after tax, the highest figure a player will take home in the history of the Premier League.
Arsenal would benefit a lot if Mkhitaryan moves here but it wouldn’t be a big loss if his agent continues with his difficult stance and then Wenger turns elsewhere. A player of such quality is welcome but only at the right price
