Arsenal are reportedly interested in selling Gabriel Paulista.
Arsene Wenger is looking to carry out a massive overhaul of his squad this summer and as many has eight players are expected to leave the club before the end of the transfer window.
Gabriel has emerged as of those players who could be allowed to leave if the club receives the right offer for him.
He is currently attracting interest from Valencia and Arsenal are open to letting him leave if their valuation is met by the Spanish club
Gabriel has found it difficult to dislodge first choice pairing Koscielny and Mustafi from Wenger’s starting xi. He has also struggled to impress since he joined in the winter of 2015 and now faces a fight for relevance as teenager star, Rob Holding is surging ahead of him in Wenger’s pecking order.
According to the Sun via the Daily Star, Arsenal would happily accept a bid in the region £10m for the defender.
That fee shouldn’t be a problem for Valencia who have been credited with a strong interest in the defender. However, it would represent a slight loss for Arsenal who paid £11.3m for the defender two years ago but Wenger wouldn’t mind since he is willing to let him go.
It wouldn’t be bad business if Arsenal demand a little more for Gabriel, considering how much players are being sold in the current transfer market.
Lucas Perez, Mathieu Debuchy and Kieran Gibbs are also expected to follow Gabriel out of the exit door this summer.
