Arsenal and Manchester City are interested in signing Juventus forward Paulo Dybala, according to reports.
Several clubs want to sign Dybala and it isn’t surprising that Arsenal are one of the club’s being mentioned.
The forward has established himself as one of football’s star players. There’s no top European club that hasn’t been linked with Dybala in recent years and that’s probably because he’s regarded as one of Europe’s best players.
Friday’s edition in Mundo Deportivo via the Daily Cannon has mentioned Arsenal and Manchester City as the two Premier League clubs interested in Dybala.
La Liga giants Barcelona and Real Madrid are also keen on the Argentine. However, Manchester United have been removed from the clubs interested in the forward.
Arsenal being mentioned as one of the clubs eyeing up a move for Dybala is likely down to the fact that Weneger has begun to spend big recently. Arsenal have spent in excess of £100m on two strikers in the last six months, which is very unlike the club.
Realistically though, I don’t think Arsenal have a true chance of signing Dybala. At this rate, he’d cost close to a world record transfer fee, giving the inflation in the transfer market and enormous wages.
I don’t think the club can afford the financial commitment that would be involved in signing such a world class player.
