Confirmed: Arsenal dealt another big injury blow ahead of West Ham clash

Arsenal News HQ brings you the latest Arsenal news, match analysis, transfer news, injury news, team news and rumours from trusted media outlets around the world.

Aaron Ramsey was one of our standout performers at St Mary’s on Sunday and forced Fraser Forster into a world-class save in the first half.

But the Wales midfielder ended the game in pain – and unable to run – after picking up an injury in the second half.

“He has a hamstring problem,” Arsene Wenger told Arsenal.com.

“In the last 10 or 12 minutes if we had him fully fit it would have helped. That’s why it’s sometimes a big gamble when you [make substitutions] early.”

Ramsey will join Mustafi on the sidelines as Arsenal set to take on West Ham in a crucial London derby.
