With the summer transfer window gradually coming to an end, Arsene Wenger has revealed he is still interested in signing more players to strengthen the team ahead of next season.
Arsenal have been heavily linked with a move in signing Leicester City’s winger Riyad Mahrez this summer with reports from the British tabloid claiming the 25-year-old has agreed personal terms with the Gunners.
However, Leicester City’s boss Claudio Ranieri has denied rumours linking his star winger away from the King Power Stadium.
“I don’t know, who is interested?” Ranieri told the Evening Standard. “Tell me if there is one. Arsenal? No. Riyad will stay with us.”
Ranieri revealed Mahrez will sign a new deal with the Foxes despite rejecting a new deal with the club.
The Algeria international guided the Foxes in winning the Premier League title last season scoring 17 goals and providing 11 assists; his impressive performance got him voted as the PFA player of the season; the former Le Havre winger played a total of 39 games for the Foxes last season.
