Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey will be fit for the north London derby against Tottenham this Saturday.
That is according to Ramsey’s international manager Chris Coleman.
The midfielder has been sent back to Arsenal ahead of Wales’ friendly against Panama.
However, Coleman says it was always the plan for the 26-year-old to play just one game during the international break.
Ramsey played for Wales in their 2-0 defeat to France last Friday.
“Coming into the camp we knew we were only going to have him for France,” Coleman said.
“No matter how he felt afterwards we decided it would be one game for Aaron Ramsey.
“So he’s gone back, he’s okay, he came through the game okay.
“I think coming into the camp because of what’s been happening with him at Arsenal in terms of his fitness we thought one game would be better than two.
“That was the thinking, he’s gone back to Arsenal.
“He will be available for them at the weekend.”
Tottenham visit the Emirates this Saturday in a crucial game for both sides.
Arsenal head into the clash four points behind their rivals, who finished above them in the league last season for the first time since 1995.
Gunners striker Olivier Giroud is a doubt for the game after suffering a thigh injury in France’s win over Wales, where he scored to become his country’s seventh highest scorer.
