Juventus have made Hector Bellerin a transfer target, according to reports.
The Italians are said to be considering a move for the Gunners right back as they scour the market for Stephan Lichsteiner.
Veteral defender Lichsteiner is set to leave the Turin club next summer and according to Tuttosport via the Mirror, they have identified Bellerin as an ideal successor.
Bellerin has been a regular feature in Arsenal’s first team and remains the club’s undisputed first choice right back. Although, he’s not been on the level he was in previous years, that doesn’t mean Arsenal will consider selling him.
In short Bellerin still has more than five years on his contract, meaning Arsenal aren’t under any pressure whatsoever to sell.
If truly Juventus are interested in Bellerin, I expect it to end just like Barcelona’s.
Barcelona were desperate to sign Bellerin in the last transfer window but Arsenal rebuffed all bids for the defender.
Juventus chase is also likely to be fruitless. Arsenal wouldn’t sell Bellerin for any reason. He’s the club’s only recognized right back and letting him leave will be disastrous.
