French Publication Reveals Arsenal’s €41M Bid For 18 Goals Winger

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger revealed he is still very much interested in signing new players this summer transfer window and has identified he is looking on strengthen the defense and also sign a new striker to create option upfront.

The Gunners have been heavily linked with a move for Riyad Mahrez this summer with reports claiming he has agreed personal terms of £100,000k a week deal after Wenger held face-to-face talks with his agent Kamel Bengougam, according to the Mirror.

According to reports from the Mirror via L’Equipe. suggest Arsenal have increased their bid for the 24-year-old to €41million (£35million).

The British tabloid widely reported Mahrez has refused to sign new deal with the Foxes amid he wants to leave the King Power Stadium this summer.

The Algeria international dropped another massive hint about leaving the King Power stadium when Leicester took on Hull City in their opener of the Premier League on Saturday.

Supporters were disappointed that the Algerian didn’t run over to celebrate his penalty with them as he normally does.

Mahrez guided the Foxes in winning the Premier League last season scoring 17 goals and providing 11 assist.

Wenger will have to act swiftly in signing the Algeria international as Chelsea are believed to be keeping tabs on him.
