21-year-old Attacker Deal Moves Closer After Scoring 5 Goals In 4 Games

According to reports from the ibtimes.co.uk, are reporting Hertha BSC are interested in signing Serge Gnabry this summer as he has been heavily linked with a move to the German Bundesliga.

The 21-year-old has just one year left in his contract at Arsenal since joining the Gunners from Stuttgart in 2011.

The report further states Arsenal are believed to have opened talks with the attacker over extending his current contract at the Arsenal and if talks fail to pull through, they will consider a permanent deal for him away from the North London.

Gnabry, was shipped out on loan last season at West Brom after struggling to break through into Arsene Wenger’s first teams squad.

The German U23 international is on blistering form in the ongoing Rio Olympics and have found the back of the net five time already in the tournament.

Despite his blistering form, I doubt if Wenger will give him the opportunity to break into the first team at Arsenal. Alexis Sanchez, Alex Iwobi, Theo Walcott, Joel Campbell and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are ahead of him in the pecking order for a place in the wide.
